This excursion is aimed at moderately trained hikers, accustomed to moving on sandy or detrital ground, where there may be no paths and where the path can face sometimes exposed sections.<\/p>\n

Meeting and departure from the Ash\u00e0ra info point located at the Rifugio Sapienza Etna Sud.<\/p>\n

After a short briefing, where the equipment will be provided, the excursion will begin which will lead us to the top at an altitude of 3300mt.
\nWith the help of the cable car lifts and 4\u00d74 unimog we will quickly gain altitude up to 2900m, near Torre del Filosofo and from here we will begin a trek entirely on foot of about 2 hours, making 2-3 intermediate breaks to enjoy the view, up to the summit craters.<\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n[\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row full_width=”stretch_row” el_class=”riga-dettagli-esc riga-dettagli-esc-2″][vc_column width=”1\/2″ el_class=”testo-dettagli”]

An unforgettable adventure<\/h2>\r\n

We will travel through the lunar-like lava fields that will lead us under the summit craters.
\nWith one last challenging climb we will reach the summit of Etna, the highest active volcano in Europe where we could admire the peculiarities that characterize the summit area.<\/p>\n

We will carry out the descent on foot through sandbanks, we will visit other craters of different historical periods and we will cross a lava flow channel.<\/p>\n
